Dr. Ted L. Conger

Dr. Conger attended Brigham Young University where he completed his Pre-chiropractic requirements. He studied chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Conger has served as the president of the Utah Chiropractic Physicians Association from 1988-89 and 1997-99, and as a board member in several other capacities.

He is also active in The International Chiropractic Alumni Association where he currently serves as the President.

He has various post-graduate hours in diagnostic and clinical x-ray, chiropractic adjusting technique, nutrition, spinal trauma, pediatrics, sports injuries, rehabilitation, professional ethics, federal compliance, and HIPPA totaling over 500 additional hours since 1983.

Dr. Conger was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He is an Eagle Scout, served a mission for the LDS Church in South Carolina, is married to Debbie Bailey, and they are the parents of two daughters.

Dr. W. Brad Shaw

Dr. Shaw completed his general education requirements at Idaho State University and moved with his family to Dallas, Texas to attend Parker University- College of Chiropractic where he received two Bachelor’s Degrees (Bachelor’s of Science in Anatomy, and Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Wellness) and his Doctoral Degree.

Dr. Shaw is Advanced Proficient in Activator Methods Protocol and is currently taking continuing education courses to help with pediatrics and pregnancy.

Dr. Shaw was born and raised in West Jordan until High School when his family moved to Pocatello, Idaho. He is an Eagle Scout and served a full time Spanish speaking mission for the LDS Church in Chicago, Illinois. He and his wife Misty have two children, a daughter and a son. He enjoys time with his family, reading books, playing games, working on crafts, and playing his musical instruments- saxophone and bagpipes.

He is excited to join the team and help as many people as possible through the power of chiropractic!

Alicia Higuera

Alicia moved to Salt lake City from Kingman, Arizona in the summer of 2010 to attend the Utah College of Massage Therapy. It was there that she completed 115 hours of clinical internship and 815 hours of education and training. During her time there, she was awarded the Honor Roll, Perfect Attendance, and the High 5, given for completing 5 massages every clinic shift over the course of the program.

After graduating from the Professional Massage Therapy program in March 2011, Alicia joined the Capstone Chiropractic team providing therapeutic and relaxing massages for the patients as well as the public. Alicia specializes in deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, sports massage, injury and trigger point therapy. She does chair massages and full body table massages as well as participating in various public and private events each month.

Alicia now resides in Salt Lake City with her husband and daughter.

Susan

Sue is Dr. Conger’s new patient assistant and loves working with our patients! She is cross trained in many areas of our office as well including being a therapy assistant and working closely with our patients who have had work related and personal injury accidents. She worked most of her professional life in production, but started office work in 1998, then came to work with Dr. Conger in March of 1999.

She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and moved to Utah when she was three. She went to school in Kearns and married her first husband in 1969. Together they had two sons. In 1985 she married her husband Lowell and all together, they have five sons. They now have ten grandchildren and love spending time with them!

Sue is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign War Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoys doing genealogy, sewing, and being the Cub Scout leader for the 8 – 9 year old boys.

Kimberly

Kim is our front desk receptionist. She is cheerful and caring and loves working in our office and making sure that everything runs smoothly. Kim is going to be going to school to study Business and Office Management and would someday like to be an office manager. She is currently working on making the necessary preparations for school.

Kim has spent many years in our offices working at the front desk, doing therapies, and learning about insurance. She is currently working in both our Downtown and our Holladay offices.

Kim grew up in Salt Lake City and loves the easy access to the great outdoors! She enjoys hiking, camping, and backpacking through the mountains. She also has a great time baking and cooking and is always trying impressive new recipes.

Kim has 2 dogs and spends as much time with them as she can.

Tiffany

Tiffany works in our offices doing whatever task needs to be done! She has worked with our patients as a receptionist, working with the therapy, and putting together special projects and events. She also goes out into the community to head up our marketing team. She has been working with us since 2000, and has been here full time since 2008. She really enjoys being a part of the teams we have and getting everything organized and put together.

Tiffany grew up in Salt Lake City, and then attended Brigham Young University for her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Media Arts. She hopes that someday she will be able to continue her education.

Tiffany freelances as a makeup artist and costume designer. She loves to travel and lived in England for a period during her university studies. She has a very close relationship with her family and spends a great deal of time with them. She is an art and theatre enthusiast and loves to participate in, as well as go see, as many performances as she can.
