Dr. Ted L. Conger Dr. Conger attended Brigham Young University where he completed his Pre-chiropractic requirements. He studied chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Conger has served as the president of the Utah Chiropractic Physicians Association from 1988-89 and 1997-99, and as a board member in several other capacities. He is also active in The International Chiropractic Alumni Association where he currently serves as the President. He has various post-graduate hours in diagnostic and clinical x-ray, chiropractic adjusting technique, nutrition, spinal trauma, pediatrics, sports injuries, rehabilitation, professional ethics, federal compliance, and HIPPA totaling over 500 additional hours since 1983. Dr. Conger was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He is an Eagle Scout, served a mission for the LDS Church in South Carolina, is married to Debbie Bailey, and they are the parents of two daughters.
Dr. Suzan Sterner Dr. Sterner is a California native. She recently moved to the Salt Lake area from Bakersfield, California and has joined our team at Conger Chiropractic. She received her chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West, and has since then completed most of the post-graduate rehabilitation program. She has worked extensively with industrial injuries and designed rehabilitation programs for many post-surgical injuries as well as those suffering from injuries sustained from auto accidents. She comes to us with years of experience treating traumatic injuries. She speaks Spanish and enjoys having the opportunity to use those skills. In her free time, she enjoys the visual arts, museums of all types, presentations – especially science based presentations, and figure drawing. She is eager to explore the beautiful outdoors of Utah and to experiencing the area.
Dr. Chad Adams Dr. Chad Adams, a burgeoning vegan, is a Utah native but has also enjoyed living and practicing in both Texas and Arizona. He attended the University of Utah and Parker University where he completed his double Bachelors in Anatomy and Health and Wellness. He studied chiropractic at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. His passion is for sports performance and sports related injuries. As a Certified Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a practitioner of Applied Kinesiology, Dr. Adams loves working with athletes of all ages and abilities. He is also an avid athlete himself owning the title of Black Belt in Shaolin Kempo and the title of “Professor” in the art form of Brazilian capoeira. Dr. Adams, or “Professor Furacao” as he is known in the capoeira world, is also a video game character on the well known online “Capoeira Fighter” video game. He also travels the U.S. often to oversee and teach martial arts seminars. Dr. Adams was born in Orem, Utah. He enjoys serving in the LDS Church and within the community. He is married to Dianna Reeder. Together they have traveled the world and love travel as a favorite past time activity. They are the parents of twin girls.
Kayla Kent Kayla is a native to Utah. She has spent most of her time residing in Saratoga Springs, next to Utah Lake. She grew up boating most summers on the lake with her parents and two younger siblings. She graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in October of 2011 with a 3.6 GPA and 815 hours of schooling as well as having 115 hours of clinical internship. Kayla spends most days practicing massage and loving every opportunity to learn and improve her skills as a holistic healer! She does regional and trigger point work as well as full body massage in our office. In her spare time, Kayla likes to go hiking with her boyfriend, dog, and good friends and family. She also enjoys doing yoga and dancing. She was given the nickname “Disco” during massage school by one of her instructors for always dancing in class.
Hannah Young Hannah is one of our massage therapists in both the Downtown and the Holladay offices. She is fun and bubbly and loves being part of a healing profession. She did her massage training from 2011 – 2012 in Cedar City, Utah. She was born and grew up in Cedar City, but spent a lot of time in Salt Lake City with family over the years. She also lived in Lake Elsinore, California for a year before moving back to Utah to be with her friends and family here. Hannah is driven and has an outgoing personality. She has hosted blood drives, she loves to bike, cook, hike and do all sorts of outdoor activities! She is currently living with her family and her dog, Koa. She would eventually like to expand into working with physical therapy in addition to massage and she someday hopes to be able to eat a whole watermelon.
Heather Johnson Heather has lived in Salt Lake City most of her life. She has a great personality and loves what she does as a massage therapist. She graduated from the Myotherapy College of Utah in 2008 and has been working in the field since then. Her favorite modalities to practice are Thai massage and Reiki. She just loves that, as a massage therapist, she can keep learning new modalities and improve her technique and training for her whole life. Heather is married to her high school sweetheart and they have two teenage boys and a dog. They live in Salt Lake City and enjoy taking advantage of all of the opportunities and benefits of living by a city, but being so close to the “great outdoors”! During the summer they enjoy hiking and biking and try to get to get down to Southern Utah for vacations during the summer. They bike everywhere on the weekends and love spending time together as a family.
Lindsay Lindsay is our front desk receptionist and will welcome you with a warm smile. She likes to meet new people and is friendly. She also loves to laugh. She was born in Las Vegas, raised in Santa Clara, UT, and is now living in Bountiful with her husband, Michael. She is the second youngest of 5 kids and loves her family. From 2011-2012 Lindsay served an LDS mission in Minnesota and although she HATES the cold, she still loved it! It really taught her to work hard and focus. She is also an animal lover and will gladly listen to any animal stories you have to share. She hopes to have a dog, cat, parakeet, and possibly a bunny in the future. Some of Lindsay’s hobbies include, hiking, four-wheeling, camping, playing tennis, music, singing, and shopping. She LOVES shopping and getting her nails done. She is really into shoes and accessories, and although her closet may not be full of shoes, she still loves to window shop for them.
Julia Julia moved from Texas to Utah 12 years ago. Although she thinks Texas is the ONLY place to be, she has grown to love the beauty of Utah. She has been in the business and medical fields for over 20 years and loves the constant change she gets to be a part of. She received her degree in Occupational Studies in Medical Specialties, graduating summa cum laude. Through her degree she has been given the opportunity to certify in phlebotomy, medical assisting, and limited radiology tech. Her passion is in medical billing and coding because of the ever changing insurance industry. Julia’s hobby is wood carving. In the evenings and on her off days, you can find her buried in saw dust with a smile a mile long! She has 7 amazing children and 19 adorable grandchildren. She feels lucky to have all of them in the Salt Lake area.
Susan Sue is Dr. Conger’s new patient assistant and loves working with our patients! She is cross trained in many areas of our office as well including being a therapy assistant and working closely with our patients who have had work related and personal injury accidents. She worked most of her professional life in production, but started office work in 1998, then came to work with Dr. Conger in March of 1999. She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and moved to Utah when she was three. She went to school in Kearns and married her first husband in 1969. Together they had two sons. In 1985 she married her husband Lowell and all together, they have five sons. They now have ten grandchildren and love spending time with them! Sue is a life member of the Veterans of Foreign War Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoys doing genealogy, sewing, and being the Cub Scout leader for the 8 – 9 year old boys.
Kimberly Kim is our office manager. She is cheerful and caring and loves working in our office and making sure that everything runs smoothly. She enjoys working with the staff to make sure our patients are well taken care of during their appointments. Kim has spent many years in our offices working at the front desk, doing therapies, and learning about insurance. She is currently working in both our Downtown and our Holladay offices. Kim grew up in Salt Lake City and loves the easy access to the great outdoors! She enjoys hiking, camping, and backpacking through the mountains. She also has a great time baking and cooking and is always trying impressive new recipes. Her future plans include going to school to study Business and Office Management. She is currently working on making the necessary plans and preparations for school.
Tiffany Tiffany works in our offices doing whatever task needs to be done! She has worked with our patients as a receptionist, working with the therapy, and putting together special projects and events. She also goes out into the community to head up our marketing team. She has been working with us since 2000, and has been here full time since 2008. She really enjoys being a part of the teams we have and getting everything organized and put together. Tiffany grew up in Salt Lake City, and then attended Brigham Young University for her bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Media Arts. She hopes that someday she will be able to continue her education. Tiffany is a freelance makeup artist and costume designer. She loves to travel and lived in England for a period during her university studies. She has a very close relationship with her family and spends a great deal of time with them. She is an art and theatre enthusiast and loves to participate in, as well as go see, as many performances as she can.
